6. Third Eye

Third Eye Chakra

27. Third Eye – Ajna – Conscious Body

Our third eye intuits information relayed from the prefrontal neocortex at the front of our brain to the pineal gland at the base of our brain. This information is then felt and interpreted in our heart. As we trust our heart’s ability to discern knowledge, we increase our intuitive sense of inner knowing and wisdom.

Knowledge is the process of gathering information; how we perceive this knowledge is wisdom. By merging the logical self with intuitive soul, we can see with the singular eye of the heart. Right knowing, is our ability to see with our hearts instead of our eyes. As we trust our senses we dream our world into being.

13. Trunk

6. Trunk – Third Eye Chakra – Sensory System – Natures Archetype

The third eye chakra is located in the middle of the forehead connecting us to our sensory system. This is the place ofintuition, inner knowing and conscious dreaming. It represents the archetype of the tree, standing fully present in the moment.

A tree trunk is seen at eye level; it is not buried like the roots or out of reach like branches. The trunk is symbolic of the present moment, our awakened or conscious state, what some call the middle world. In native cultures, trees are referred to as “The Standing People” who hold great wisdom for humanity.

Trees paved the way for humans to live on earth by purifying the air we breathe. Trees provided shelter, tools, food, medicine, fire and spiritual connection.

The Celtic cultures of the Germanic people saw trees as ancestor spirits or divine beings. A person who could access the wisdom of trees was considered “treewise”.  These treewise people were often seen as Druids who were able to merge with the spirit of a tree and gather information in the middle, lower and upperworlds. Druids were teachers and mystics who shared their wisdom by carving symbols and letters on wooden sticks. The Anglo-Saxon word treo, means both tree and truth and is based on the Sanskrit word taru (tree). Treeshave inspired manyofthe great mysteryteachingsand creation stories throughout the world. These stories have been consciously shared in the oral tradition for hundreds of generations as they have informed the collective unconscious.

The third eye has the ability to awaken the collective unconscious to become conscious. By bringing these stories to consciousness using our logical and intuitive self we can awaken our world through the singular eye of the soul.

“One is wise to cultivate the tree that bears fruit in our soul” – Henry David Thoreau

20. Knowledge of Life

13. Knowledge of Life – Third Eye – Sacred Geometry – Metatron’s Cube

The Knowledge of Life within our third eye chakra, is whereour psyche remembers itself as a soul. This knowledge awakens our intuition or inner wisdom.

The Knowledge of Life is revealed by connecting the center points of the 13 independent circles within the Fruit of Life with 78 lines. This forms Metatrons Cube, where the circular, intuitive world merges with the linear, logical world.

In Hebrew, the angel Metatron, “measured throne,” is the name given to the prophet Enoch, who ascended into heaven to become the celestial scribe for humanity’s return to Eden.

The Garden of Eden is found in the book of Genesis, which was written between 500-600 BCE.  This is where Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden and separated from the eternal Tree of Life (psyche/soul) because they ate the forbidden fruit from Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (psyche/mind).

Metatron’s Cube is a reminder that this wound of separation is an illusion held in our mind’s eye. When we see ourselves as whole and holy this illusion of separation dissolves. This knowledge was so powerful that it was hidden for thousands of years. It surfaced in the mystical teachings of the Kabbalah, where Metatron, as the sefirot Kether, is seen sitting at the top of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. The Kabbalah represents the mystical journey of the soul as it descends through the Tree of Life to manifest into human form and then transcends to spiritual oneness.

This archetypal journey of the soul inspired the creation of the Tarot. The Tarot is a deck of 78 allegorical cards that share a direct correlation with the Kabbalah and the 78 lines contained within Metatron’s Cube. Metatron’s Cube also reveals the Platonic Solids, which were seen as the building blocks of life, (earth, water, fire, air, ether and light).

When the Knowledge of Life awakens within the third eye our consciousness impacts the collective unconscious by bringing our world into focus through the singular eye of the soul.

Message: Trust both your rational mind and your intuitive senses as you awaken to a new way of being. By looking at your present situation from all directions it will become clear what actions you need to take.  Wisdom is awakening within your consciousness that will provide insights for your soul.

“Geometry is knowledge of the eternally existent.” – Pythagoras

The third eye chakra is located in the middle of the forehead connecting us to our sensory system. This is the place of intuition, inner knowing and conscious dreaming. It represents the middle world of the tree trunk standing fully present in the moment.  In sacred geometry, it is Metatron’s Cube that reveals the elemental structure of nature as the building blocks of life. Its element is ether which represents the invisible energy of space. Its belief is based in the wisdom teachings of Jesus. The third eye chakra has the ability to awaken the collective unconscious to become conscious.  By bringing the logical and intuitive self together we can see our world through the singular eye of the soul.

27. Dodecahedron

20. Dodecahedron – Ether – Third Eye – Platonic Solid

The third eye chakra, located in the middle of the forehead, is the place of intuition, inner knowing and conscious dreaming.By merging the logical and intuitive self together we can see our world through the singular eye of the soul.

A dodecahedron is a polygon with 12 equal pentagonal faces. Its solid form represents the element of ether. Plato worked with this concept as a model for the zodiac. Aristotle is the one who defined it as the element of ether and associated it with divine thought or will. It is seen as the invisible energy of space.

The combination of a dodecahedron (ether) with an icosahedron (water) creates a truncated icosahedron representing the vaporized structure of carbon. This is also known as a fullerene or BuckyBall, named after Buckminster Fuller.

As carbon beings, we are made up primarily of water and energy. It is remarkable that Aristotle understood this over 2000 years ago. Fullerenes are now considered the galactic seeds of life.

The dodecahedron is aligned within the third eye chakra reminding us of the power of intuitive thought. The paradox is that without imagination, we would have no knowledge. Without knowledge, imagination cannot be developed. The truth is we need both. The third eye encourages both knowledge and imagination as we dance between the worlds of divine thought and earthly will.

Message: Trust your knowledge and your imagination. This will help you see that nothing is impossible. Use your wisdom and your intuition to see all of the options available to you and to choose which is right for your soul. It is important that you trust and believe in yourself. You do possess the ability to make your vision a reality.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” – Albert Einstein

41. Collective Consciousness

Knowledge of Life

41. Collective Consciousness – Third Eye – Knowledge of Life – Consciousness

The collective consciousness is a set of shared beliefs, ideas and moral attitudes that operate as a unifying force within society. This occurs when the anima (feminine desire within men) and animus (masculine desire within women) comes into balance and harmony with each other. By awakening and healing the archetypal stories held in the collective unconscious mind we can move forward into collective consciousness. As the collective consciousness grows, the collective unconscious diminishes until we become unified, whole and healed.

To awaken the collective consciousness requires us to step out of fear and learn to trust in the lanquage of our heart. By opening our intuitive third eye we can begin to connect to others is ways we had not thought possible. In this state of unity consciousness each person and culture retains and respects the uniqueness of others. This is necessary for the continued evolution of the soul and for humans as a species.  As we awaken together, we heal the wounds and stories of our ancestors throughout time for generations to come.

Message: Trust in your knowing and transform your knowledge into wisdom.  You are now seeing what the great sages of the world have been teaching for thousands of years. Let compassion, love and nonjudgment reframe your awareness of your life and those around you. Take another look at something you had dismissed and see it from the perspective of the compassionate soul.
